Onstage New York’s Grand Finale Success
The dancers of Onstage New York proved themselves to be true champions at the Grand Finale, with two pairs taking 2nd place as Juniors National level and Regional Title winners, and three solo titles being won. Jackelyn was awarded the National NYCDA Scholarship, Nyah won High Gold (solo), and Jaelyn, Emily, and Lillian scored Gold (solo) respectively. It was a moment of pride for all involved and a testament to their hard work and dedication.

Audition Requirements
The studio offers dancers the opportunity to join dedicated competition teams, where they can work alongside other professional dancers and receive constructive feedback. The entry to the competition team is decided through auditions; dancers 6 years and older can audition directly, while younger students require an invitation from the studio owner or competition instructor. During the audition, the studio assesses the dancer’s technique, knowledge of dance terminology, flexibility, musicality, performance quality, and ability to execute leaps, jumps, and turns. Placement on the team is based on technique, age, ability, attitude, maturity, commitment, motivation, and strength.
