6 Bears & a Goat Brewing Co., LLC (6B&G) has earned its name from its founders, all of whom have served their respective military services with utmost dedication and pride. With over 140 years of combined service under their belts, the six Bears (20-year retirees from the U.S. Coast Guard) and the Goat (retiree from the U.S. Navy) continue to embody the values of their service while enjoying the lighter side of life through brewing beer. The Bears and Goat represent the camaraderie and friendly competition between the Navy and Coast Guard — creating an atmosphere that encourages togetherness and fun.
