Starting Dec 11, Virginia Housing First Time Buyer Program is providing a true, non repayable grant of $10,000 to community heroes. It can be used with the Closing costs Assistance Grant or Down Payment assistance grants from Virginia Housing with at least 1 percent down and also with the 100% financing plus loans as well. AND it can be stacked with other grants!

$10,000 VIRGINIA HOUSING HEROES GRANT if you meet income limits and are one of these professions. A first time buyer is designated as anyone who has not owned a home in the last 3 calendar years.
-Public or private school personnel/ retiree
-Fire & emergency services personnel/ retiree
-Childcare personnel/ retiree
-Military & defense personnel/ retiree
-Veteran of military & defense personnel/ retiree
-Law enforcement personnel/ retiree
-Healthcare personnel/ retiree
The MAC CHURCH team has tons of experience with Virginia Housing and are perennially on their top producer list. You need someone who knows what they are doing on these loans as there are a lot of traps/pitfalls where income is concerned and there are different loan limits/income requirements for different counties!
