On December 16, 2023, the city of Fredericksburg, Virginia will host the Wreaths Across America/Fredericksburg event to commemorate and show gratitude to those who have courageously served our country in the past. An important tradition nationwide, this meaningful occasion will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery located at 1902 Plank Road, and provide an opportunity for one community to pay tribute to some of its own. Participants are asked to lay wreaths on gravesites as a respectful sign of remembrance and give twofold honor to the fallen while also teaching new generations of their sacrifice.
