Red Lobster has announced the closure of several locations across Virginia, impacting seafood lovers throughout the state. According to recent reports from WUSA and Restaurant Business Online, eight Virginia locations are slated to close, including two each in the DMV area, Richmond, and Virginia Beach. The specific locations are:
- 555 S. Van Dorn Street, Alexandria
- 4115 Chesapeake Square Blvd, Chesapeake
- 10325 Fairfax Blvd., Fairfax
- 3109 Spotsylvania Mall Drive, Fredericksburg
- 8009 West Broad Street, Richmond
- 4415 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond
- 709 Independence Blvd., Virginia Beach
- 821 Lynnhaven Pkwy, Virginia Beach
In court filings, the restaurant chain listed these locations as the ones it wishes to reject the building leases for, stating they “are likely to continue to drive losses” if operations remain unchanged.
For Red Lobster fans in Fredericksburg and other affected areas, this means you may want to head over soon to get your last meal at these beloved seafood spots.
